Glass painting work

Yes, I even did glasspainting. I like to work with glass and glass paints, though they are a bit toxic. That's how it looked like!

 First I made a sketch on a piece of paper, marked colors and put glass on it. Then I made contours with special contour paints, which was a bit hard to do, but still real fun! The idea was taken from our ukrainian literature. The inscription is part of a poem of a famous Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko. It tells us to learn new things and not to forget your roots.

Then I started filling it with paint. It is important not to let the colors mix. This is why the contours should be put very carefully, sticking to each other and forming specific fragments.

And there was day, and there was night and the morning of the next day  :)

Here it is! Ready to decorate a library or a hall.
